This steel-shelled “Ferrari” bucket seat is said to have been removed from a Porsche 911 and was reupholstered using black vinyl and basketweave insert material under current ownership. The seat features backrest vents and is mounted on sliding rails with a tilting base. This sport seat is now offered at no reserve with photocopied sections of The 911 & 912 Porsche: A Restorer’s Guide to Authenticity book in Costa Mesa, California.

The “Ferrari” seat was available as optional equipment for Porsche 911 and 912 models in 1965 and 1966. The back of this example is covered in black carpet, and both the black vinyl bolster upholstery and basketweave insert material were reportedly replaced using German-sourced products under current ownership.

The seats are attached to sliding rails with tilting bases.
