This 1969 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 was disassembled following the current owner’s 2015 acquisition in anticipation of a future refurbishment, and work in 2020 by Marcovicci-Wenz of New York involved rebuilding the 4.4-liter Colombo V12. The body is finished in worn red paint and the interior has been stripped. In addition to the engine, parts that will accompany the car include a five-speed manual gearbox, five 15″ wire wheels, two front seats, and various interior and exterior trim pieces along with wiring and electrical components. This 365 GT 2+2 project is now offered in New York on dealer consignment with a California title.

Records provided in the gallery detail a 2020 rebuild of the 4.4-liter Colombo V12 by Marcovicci-Wenz of Ronkonkoma, New York, that involved repairing the block, overhauling the carburetors, surfacing the cylinder heads, regrinding the camshafts, and replacing the pistons, bearings, and valve springs.

The Pininfarina-designed coachwork of this 365 GT 2+2 wears a worn red finish, and its exterior trim, glass, lights, and rear decklid have been removed. Rust bubbles and underside corrosion are noted.

The 2+2 cockpit has been stripped, and the removed dashboard, wood trim, carpets, and other interior components are shown in the gallery below in addition to a pair of bucket seats with worn black upholstery.
