This 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi is a running and driving project that was acquired out of barn storage by the selling dealer in 2025. Powered by a fuel-injected 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in red over Nero leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, a quad-exit exhaust system, a gated shifter, and electric windows. This 308 GTSi is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a spare set of wheels and a clean Iowa title.
The car is finished in red and features a black removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, a driver-side mirror, a vented decklid, and quad exhaust outlets. The rear trunk and lower doos have been refinished, and there are scuffs, paint chips, and blemishes around the body. The wipers operate slowly, and photographs of paint-meter readings are presented in the gallery.
Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes tires that have 2017 date codes. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. Noise from the rear suspension components is noted. A spare set of 14″ five-spoke wheels will accompany the sale.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in Nero leather upholstery along with matching door panels. Equipment includes electric windows and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The air conditioning system and head unit do not work. An odor, slow operating windows, and blemishes near the rear windows are noted by the selling dealer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation, including a replacement 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary gauges. Additional readouts are mounted ahead of the shifter. The six-digit odometer shows 63k miles, approximately 100 miles of which were added by the selling dealer. The speedometer sending unit was replaced in 2025.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 205 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A timing belt service was last performed in 2018, and the selling dealer recommends another replacement due to age. They also note ticking from the engine, along with oil leaks from the valve covers and oil pan. The fuel pump was replaced in 2025.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage from its first entry in August 2018.
