This apparel was worn by a Ferrari Scuderia pit crew member during the 2006 Formula One season and was purchased by the seller in 2007. The collection includes a Nomex suit, a helmet, goggles, gloves, and shoes. The helmet, suit, and gloves are decorated with various sponsor logos. A certificate of origin issued by Ferrari accompanies the items. This collection is now offered at no reserve in Carpinteria, California.
The multi-layer Nomex race suit, manufactured by Puma, features a red outer layer with white accents. It incorporates a high-neck collar, front pockets, an elasticated rear waistband, and hook-and-loop fasteners on the front waistband. Patches with sponsor logos are stitched across the chest and sleeves. Fading is visible.
Identifying embroidery on the exterior displays an FIA logo and a 2005 year of manufacture.
The Puma shoes have Ferrari logos along the outer sides, red embroidery along the inner sides, and white embroidery on the ankle supports. Staining and discoloration are visible.
Puma produced the gloves, which have Vodafone and Shell logos sewn onto the backs. FIA labels are sewn over the wrists.
The certificate of origin was issued by Ferrari on May 20, 2007, and indicates the pit crew kit was used during the 2006 season.
