This 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS is one of approximately 2,900 E-series examples produced through July 1974 and was sold new through Algar Ferrari in Pennsylvania to its first owner. Chassis 06310 later spent time in New Jersey and Massachusetts with its second and third owners from 1980 to 1988 before being purchased by the current owner and relocated to Georgia. The car features Scaglietti-built bodywork finished in Rosso with a removable black roof panel over Nero leather upholstery and rides on 14″ Cromodora five-lug alloy wheels. Inside, fixed-back seats are accompanied by a MOMO steering wheel, a Becker radio, Borletti air conditioning, and power windows. Power is provided by a mid-mounted 2.4L V6 equipped with triple Weber carburetors, while shifting is through a dogleg five-speed manual transaxle. The car is noted to have undergone an engine-out service in 2018 and been displayed at the The Amelia Concours d`Elegance in Florida as well as the Chrysler Museum of Art in Virginia. Now showing 32k miles, this E-series 246 is offered on dealer consignment in Cumming, Georgia, with manufacturer’s literature, service records, accessories, and a clean Georgia title.

With bodywork designed by Aldo Brovarone and Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina, the prototype 206 GT first appeared at the 1965 Paris Auto Salon and was followed by revised concepts at the 1966 and 1967 Turin Motor Shows. The 2.0L-powered 206 entered production in early 1968 and was later superseded by the 2.4L-powered 246, which was offered in GT coupe and GTS targa-top variants beginning in 1969 and 1971, respectively.
