This 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia was modified by Hennessey Performance of Sealy, Texas, in 2013 with their HPE700 package, which added twin ball bearing turbochargers, an air-to-air Intercooler, and a stainless-steel exhaust to the 4.5-liter DOHC V8. Finished in Rosso Corsa, the car rides on black 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels coupled with carbon-ceramic brakes and Novitec adjustable coilovers at all four corners. Inside, carbon-fiber racing seats upholstered in Nero leather with red stitching are accompanied by carbon-fiber trim as well as a navigation system and a CD stereo. Shifting is through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle linked with an electronic differential, and additional equipment includes adaptive xenon headlights, LED taillights, and parking sensors. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2023, and work since then has involved recharging the air conditioning system, replacing the tires, servicing the turbochargers, and more as detailed below. This Hennessey-modified 458 Italia has 13k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment in New Jersey with a South Dakota title.
The car is finished in Rosso Corsa with a black roof and features xenon headlights, LED taillights, parking sensors, and triple exhaust outlets. Aftermarket Ferrari badging accented in carbon fiber has been added along with tinted side marker and taillamp lenses. The right taillamp was replaced in January 2025. Paint protection film has been fitted to sections of the exterior, and photos of various scratches and other imperfections are shown up close in the gallery.
The black 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 245/30 up front and 305/30 out back. The car rides on Novitec adjustable coilovers, and braking is handled by re-finished Ferrari calipers over cross-drilled carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners. The brake fluid was changed and the tires were replaced in September 2024, while work in January 2025 included installing custom front coilover locking collars as well as corner balancing the car.
The cabin features carbon-fiber racing seats upholstered in Nero leather with red stitching and embroidered Cavallino logos in the headrests. Color-coordinated leather and Alcantara extends to the dash, center console, headliner, and door panels. Carbon-fiber trim accents the interior, and further details include navigation, a CD stereo, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The air conditioning system was reportedly flushed and recharged in September 2024. Warped leather is visible behind the seats, one of the leather storage straps in the trunk is broken.
A plaque affixed to the glovebox door shows that this car is Hennessey HPE700 serial number 04.
The multifunction steering wheel fronts column-mounted shift paddles and features LED shift indicator lights as well as a red engine-start button and an adjustable manettino that toggles among several traction control and vehicle settings. Instrumentation consists of a yellow central tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline flanked by two configurable displays. The digital odometer indicates 13k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 4.5-liter F136F V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft as well as dry-sump lubrication. It was modified by Hennessey Performance in 2013 with installation of their their HPE700 package that included the following:
- Twin ball bearing turbochargers
- Air-to-Air Intercooler
- Stainless-steel inlet piping
- Stainless-steel exhaust system
- Dual wastegates
- Electronic boost controller
- Fuel system injector upgrades
- Dual K&N air filters
- HPE engine management calibration
Work in January 2025 involved removing and servicing the turbochargers and replacing the oil return pump as well as adding turbocharger blankets and wrapping portions of the exhaust system.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronically controlled differential. Scratches are visible on various underside components.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The current South Dakota title notes “AZ” under the Previous State/Brand section and carries an “Actual” notation under the Odometer Brand heading.
