This 2007 Ferrari F430 is one of a claimed 142 Challenge race cars produced over a four-year production run and has been used in various track day events following its acquisition by the current owner in 2011. Power is provided by a 4.3-liter V8 mated to a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle with limited-slip differential, and the car is finished in Giallo Modena with #40 race numbering as well as various other decals. Inside, the race-prepped cockpit features a full roll cage with door bars as well as OMP and Sabelt racing seats paired with Sparco safety harnesses. Further racing equipment includes an OMP fire-suppression system, a FAST Cool Suit setup, and integrated air jacks as well as BBS center-lock wheels fitted over slotted steel brake rotors at all four corners. The mid-mounted 4.3-liter F136E V8 features carbon-fiber valve covers and was factory rated at 483 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque, and an ultra-light exhaust system was equipped as standard. An engine oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a paddle-shifted six-speed F1 sequential transaxle with a mechanical limited-slip differential. The air jack system features a pair of pistons at the front of the car as well as a single centrally mounted unit out back.
