This 1985 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole was acquired by the current owner in 1999. It is powered by a 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a removable roof panel, a quad-exit exhaust system, pop-up headlights, and 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels along with air conditioning, a gated shifter, an Alpine stereo, and electric windows. This 308 GTS Quattrovalvole shows 28k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with an owner’s manual, service records, a tool kit, a car cover, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Rosso Corsa and features a black removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, dual side mirrors, a vented decklid, and quad exhaust outlets. Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. The steering rack and tie rods were replaced in 2021.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in beige leather upholstery along with matching door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, an Alpine CD stereo, electric windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary gauges. Additional readouts are mounted ahead of the shifter. The six-digit odometer shows 28k miles, approximately 12k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four valves per cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. The last timing belt service was performed in May 2021 at 27k miles. The front valve cover gasket, shift shaft seal, and oil pan gaskets were replaced in 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The catalytic converter has been removed but is included in the sale.
