This 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale is one of approximately 1,300 examples produced worldwide and has 4,500 miles through the owner’s purchase in 2007. It is powered by a 3.6-liter V8 paired with a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle and is finished in Argento Nurburgring over black and red upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, ceramic-composite brakes, 19″ Challenge-style alloy wheels, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a Challenge-style rear grille, carbon-fiber sport seats, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. This 360 Challenge Stradale is now offered in Massachusetts on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The 360 Challenge Stradale was the track-focused version of the 360 Modena and featured weight-saving measures including composite bumpers, a Lexan rear window with carbon-fiber supports, and carbon-fiber side mirrors. This example is finished in Argento Nurburgring with red, white, and green stripes and features xenon headlights, carbon-fiber engine cover vents, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a Challenge-style rear grille, and quad exhaust outlets exiting through the rear fascia.
The 19″ Challenge-style alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin tires, and the left-front wheel has curb damage. The suspension features lower and stiffer titanium coil springs as well as a thicker rear anti-roll bar than those on the standard 360. Stopping power is from red-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated ceramic-composite rotors at each corner. A brake fluid flush was performed in 2024.
The cockpit features carbon-fiber sport seats trimmed in black and red upholstery along with matching fabric on the dashboard. Weight-saving trim utilized in the Challenge Stradale model included carbon-fiber door panels, a carbon-fiber console, and reduced sound deadening. Amenities include racing harnesses, a CD stereo, a fire extinguisher, machined aluminum pedals, and automatic climate control. A replacement speaker was installed in April 2024.
The two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a digital fuel level readout and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. Paddle shifters for the F1 gearbox are mounted behind the steering wheel. The digital odometer indicates 4,500 miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication, dual overhead camshafts, and five valves per cylinder. The Challenge Stradale was factory rated at 425 horsepower, an increase over the standard 360, achieved using lighter and higher-compression pistons, a revised intake manifold, and ported intake and exhaust runners. Work in 2024 included changing the oil, flushing the coolant, installing replacement timing and drive belts, and replacing the battery and water pump.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an electrohydraulic six-speed F1 sequential transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
A Ferrari-branded car cover is included in the sale along with the owner’s manual, service records, and spare parts.
A spare set of wheels and tires will accompany the car in the sale.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
