This 1983 Ferrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole is said to have been sold new at Gaston Andrey Ferrari in Boston, Massachusetts, and it now shows just over 4,900 miles following the current owner’s purchase in 2021. Work completed since has included replacing the timing belts, catalytic converter, smog pump, coolant reservoir, and tires. Powered by a 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, a gated shifter, electric windows, and a RetroSound head unit. This 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with the removed factory metric wheels, spare parts, service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Rosso Corsa and features a black removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, dual side mirrors, a vented decklid, and quad exhaust outlets. The rear diffuser was powder-coated in 2020, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli tires that were mounted in 2022. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in beige leather upholstery along with matching door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, electric windows, a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern, and a RetroSound head unit. The air conditioning was recharged in 2025.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation, including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary gauges. Additional readouts are mounted ahead of the shifter. The six-digit odometer shows just over 4,900 miles, approximately 500 miles of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four valves per cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump was replaced in 2020, and the engine harness was repaired in 2022. Additional work in 2022 included replacement of the catalytic converter, smog pump, coolant reservoir, and oil pressure sending unit. A timing belt service was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch was replaced in April 2020.
The removed factory set of 390mm Cromodora metric wheels will accompany the sale.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage from its first entry in June 2000.
