This 2001 Ferrari 550 is #187 of 448 Barchetta Pininfarina roadsters produced to celebrate the 70th anniversary of design house Pininfarina. It is finished in Rosso Corsa over Beige Connolly leather and powered by a 5.5-liter F133 V12 linked with a six-speed manual transmission a limited-slip differential. Features include Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, red-finished brake calipers, and 18″ Speedline multi-piece wheels as well as a gated shifter and carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats. Acquired by the current owner in 2021, the car underwent a timing belt replacement in 2025 and now shows 9,800 miles. This 550 Barchetta Pininfarina is offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, a tool kit, a black rain fly top, a 2024 Ferrari Club of America trophy, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.
The Barchetta Pininfarina debuted at the 2000 Paris Motor Show. Compared to the contemporary 550 Maranello coupe, it featured a more aggressively raked windshield, shortened A-pillars, added roll hoops, and an elongated rear section. A black rain fly top accompanying the car can be seen in the gallery below.
This car is finished in Rosso Corsa (322) and wears Scuderia Ferrari fender shields. Xenon headlights are paired with halogen fog lights up front, and further details include a hood scoop, fender vents, and Pininfarina quarter-panel badging.
The 18″ Speedline multi-piece wheels wear yellow prancing horse center caps and are mounted with 255/40 front and 295/35 rear Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. Stopping power is provided by red-finished calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners.
The cockpit features carbon-fiber-backed adjustable bucket seats trimmed in Beige Connolly leather, and color-coordinated upholstery extends to the console, lower dashboard, door panels, and roll hoops. Interior amenities include automatic climate control as well as a Ferrari-branded Becker stereo connected to a trunk-mounted Becker CD changer.
A badge on the carbon-fiber center console indicates that this car is #187 of 448 produced and features a facsimile of Sergio Pininfarina’s signature.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is paired with a gated shifter and frames a suede-trimmed instrument panel with carbon-fiber gauge surrounds. Jaeger instrumentation includes a 220-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for coolant temperature and oil pressure along with a centrally mounted clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 9,800 miles, less than 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.5-liter Tipo F133C quad-cam V12 was factory rated at 485 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. Service in preparation for the sale included adjusting the valves and replacing the timing belts, tensioner bearings, cam seals, and valve cover gaskets.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The exhaust system was reportedly replaced in 2002.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Shelton Sports Cars in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, along with factory colors, equipment, and a total retail price of $259,953. The document is included in the sale along with manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, and a 2024 “Best Ferrari of Show” trophy from the Desert Region of the Ferrari Club of America.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or reported damage.
There is currently a lien on the vehicle, and the current owner’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
