This electric go-kart was produced by SLM Inc. of Gloversville, New York, to resemble a Ferrari F40 and was sold under the Buddy L Power Drivers brand. It features red molded plastic bodywork over a steel chassis, with power sent to the rear axle via an electric motor with forward and reverse settings. Features include a windscreen, a rear wing, and plastic seats with yellow lap belts. This F40-style go-kart was purchased by the seller in 2025 and is now offered at no reserve in Miami, Florida, on a bill of sale.
The red plastic bodywork features headlight blanks, faux NACA ducts, Ferrari and F40 logos, a windscreen, a rear wing, and taillight and rear turn signal blanks. The side mirrors are missing, and close-up photos of the bodywork are shown in the gallery.
The black plastic wheels feature bright five-spoke faces. The tubular steel frame is finished in black, and stopping power is provided by a foot-operated brake.
The cockpit features black plastic seats with Buddy L logos and fitted with yellow lap belts. A red-and-black four-spoke steering wheel with an on/off/start switch fronts faux instrumentation, and a Hi/Lo power switch is affixed to the dashboard.
Foot controls are marked in English and French.
The black-finished faux engine cover on the rear deck provides access to the batteries.
