This Revocromico rotating roof was designed by Turin, Italy-based design studio Fioravanti for the Ferrari 575 Superamerica. The model featured a patented rotating roof named Revocromio to highlight its combination of rearward rotational movement and electrochromic technology. The roof has a carbon-fiber support structure, an electrochromic glass roof panel, and a heated glass rear window. The owner acquired the top in July 2025, reportedly from a Ferrari dealer, and states it has not been installed on a car. The top is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in Rockaway, New Jersey, with a shipping crate.
The glass roof panel was manufactured by Saint Gobain and measures around 44″ wide by 33″ long. The laminated glass is multi-coated with electrochromic film that, when charged with a low-voltage electrical current, can be adjusted across five levels of tint. At its lightest setting, light transmission is comparable to a conventional sunroof; at its darkest, only 1% of solar rays are allowed through. The roof takes around 60 seconds to adjust from its lightest to its darkest setting, and the roof automatically darkens when the engine is turned off.
The heated glass rear window functions as a wind deflector when the top is down. A brake light is positioned behind the glass panel.
The roof’s carbon-fiber frame rotates around a single fulcrum and mounts to the car’s side buttresses. When open, the panel rests flush with the boot lid, allowing trunk access with the roof in either position.
Electrical connectors are retained.
A shipping crate is included.
