This Stilo full-face helmet was produced for use with Ferrari 599XX race cars and was reportedly worn at Ferrari Corse Clienti events from 2009 to 2011. Finished in gloss red and silver with a white #88 to match the livery of the #88 599XX, the size-large helmet was acquired by the seller in 2011 and is now offered at no reserve in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Ferrari debuted the track-only 599XX at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. In 2010, the company announced at the Beijing Auto Show that the car completed the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6 minutes and 58.16 seconds, the fastest lap time for a production-derived sports car at the time.
Scuderia Ferrari logos are present on the front and rear of the helmet. Markings on the back designate the helmet as a size large. Scuffs are visible.
The helmet is lined with black padding and has an adjustable chin strap.
