This 1987 Ferrari Testarossa has remained registered in Texas from new through the seller’s purchase in 2024, and it now shows 16k miles. Powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige Connolly leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, power windows, and a gated shifter. Work completed since 2023 has included replacing the tires, front wheel, bearings, fuel injectors, fuel tank, fuel pumps, and spark plugs. This Testarossa is offered with service records, manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a Texas title in the seller’s name.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, an asymmetrical cooling duct beneath the left fog lamp, side intake strakes, black-finished rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes a paint blemish on the passenger door.
The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are fitted with BFGoodrich g-Force tires that were mounted in December 2023. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. The front wheel bearings were replaced in March 2024.
The cockpit is trimmed in beige Connolly leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior amenities include motorized seat belts and a gated shifter located on the center console alongside controls for the air conditioning and power windows. The head unit does not turn on.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 16k miles, approximately 700 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.9-liter flat-12 was factory rated at 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was last completed in 2014, and work completed since 2023 has included rebuilding the fuel system, resealing the valve covers, and replacing the fuel tank, fuel pumps, fuel filter, fuel injectors, and spark plugs.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket exhaust system has been installed, and the clutch was replaced in 2014.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
There is currently a lien on the vehicle, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the next owner.
