This 1975 Ferrari 308 GT4 was acquired by the seller in 1998 and is powered by a 2.9-liter V8 that utilizes quad Weber 40 DCNF carburetors and was rebuilt in 2020. Shifting is through a five-speed manual transaxle with a gated dogleg shifter and a limited-slip differential. The car features an ANSA exhaust system, electronic ignition, Koni shock absorbers, and 16” multi-piece wheels. The red and black body has been modified with round taillights, while cabin appointments include an Alpine cassette stereo, R134a-based air conditioning, a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, and retrimmed front bucket seats with black and red Daytona-style upholstery. This 308 GT4 is now offered with an owner’s manual, service records, a Ferrari brochure, spare parts, a jack, a car cover, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The Bertone-designed bodywork is finished in red and black, and exterior features include a heated rear windscreen, retractable headlights, side air intakes, and impact bumpers. Round taillights have been installed, and the removed components are included in the sale. A repaired chip in the windshield and paint cracks on the rear pillars are shown in the gallery below.
The 16” multi-piece wheels are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires that the seller reports were installed in late 2024. Stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. Work in 2021 is said to have included rebuilding the steering rack and replacing the suspension bushings, front shocks, front brake rotors, and front brake pads.
The 2+2 interior has been retrimmed in black leather with Daytona-style front seat upholstery, and amenities include an Alpine cassette stereo, air conditioning, three-point front and rear seatbelts, and a gated shifter. The seller reports that the air conditioning system was converted to utilize R134a refrigerant in 2021. The clock does not function correctly.
The leather-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel features a prancing horse horn button and frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a tachometer with a 7,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 25k of which were added under current ownership. LED dash lights have been installed.
The transverse 2.9-liter DOHC V8 is equipped with quad Weber 40 DCNF carburetors for a factory rating of 240 horsepower. The engine was rebuilt in 2020 when the car had 63k miles. An ANSA exhaust system and Crane Cams dual electronic ignition have been installed. The battery was replaced in late 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
