This 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole is finished in Marrone Metallizzato over Tobacco leather, and its 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 experienced a timing-belt service in September 2022. The car is equipped with a five-speed manual transaxle, a limited-slip differential, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, a quad-exit exhaust system, R134a-based air conditioning, a gated shifter, a Sony radio, and electric windows. Approximately 3k of the 32k miles shown were added following the seller’s purchase two decades ago. This 308 GTS Quattrovalvole is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Marrone Metallizzato (800) and features a black removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, dual side mirrors, a vented decklid, and quad exhaust outlets. Blemishes are noted up front and behind the wheel arches, and other imperfections include a ding in the rear deck. The lid struts and antenna have been replaced.
Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels show curb marks and were mounted with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires last year. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in Tobacco leather upholstery along with matching door panels. Equipment includes R134a-based air conditioning, a Sony radio, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The power windows operate slowly, and the driver’s outer seat bolster shows signs of wear.
Veglia instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary gauges. Additional readouts are mounted ahead of the shifter. The six-digit odometer shows 32k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four valves per cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. A timing-belt service was carried out in September 2022, with work that included replacing the water pump, upper engine-mount bushing, battery, fan relay, and spark plugs. An oil change was performed in March 2025.
