Euro 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello

This European-market 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello was sold new in Stein, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Switzerland, and relocated to the United Kingdom in 2011 before being imported to the US in 2024. Powered by a 5.5-liter V12 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in Blu Tour de France over Crema leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a Tubi-style exhaust system, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, power-adjustable seats, a gated shifter, a Pioneer stereo, and automatic climate control. Acquired by the current owner in 2025, this 550 Maranello shows 32k kilometres (~21k miles) and is offered in California on dealer consignment with a toolkit, spare parts, manufacturer’s literature, and a Montana title.

The 550 Maranello was styled by Pininfarina, and this example is finished in Blu Tour de France. Exterior details include fog lights, a hood scoop, a front spoiler, front fender vents, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear bumper cover. The selling dealer notes paint blemishes near the door handle, damaged black paint on the lower right portion of the front bumper, and deteriorating finish on the right window surround trim. Silver 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. Braking is handled by black-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners.

The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Crema leather with dark blue piping, and amenities include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, electric windows, rear luggage straps, and a Pioneer head unit. Scuffs near the hood release handle are noted by the selling dealer.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 340-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure, while an analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 32k kilometres (~21k miles), approximately 600 kilometers of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.5-liter quad-cam F133A V12 features 48 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic engine management for a factory-rated output of 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer states that a timing belt service was completed in March 2025 and the alternator was replaced in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Tubi-style exhaust system has been added.
