This 1990 Ferrari Mondial T cabriolet is one of a reported 1,010 examples produced between 1989 and 1993, and it is powered by a 3.4-liter F119D V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Finished in Nero over tan leather upholstery, it is equipped with a limited-slip differential, a Hyperflow exhaust system, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a black soft top, a tan top boot, a gated shifter, power windows and locks, and air conditioning. The car has been registered in several states, sold on BaT in July 2019 and again on BaT in July 2020, and purchased by the seller in 2025. A timing-belt service and valve adjustment were carried out that year, and other replaced components include the battery, tires, accessory belts, cam-cover gaskets and seals, and more as detailed below. Showing 38k miles, this Mondial T cabriolet is offered with owner’s and service manuals, a tool kit, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a California title in the seller’s name.
The Mondial was designed by Pininfarina, and the T model features body-color bumper covers as well as restyled side air intakes, door handles, and fenders when compared with earlier examples. The car is finished in Nero and features a black soft top, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, black lower bodywork, and quadruple exhaust outlets. The seller notes paint touch-ups, and photos showing paint-meter readings are provided in the gallery below.
Five-spoke 16″ alloy wheels were fitted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires in June 2025, and the brake fluid was bled at that time. The car is equipped with power steering and an adjustable suspension, while braking is handled by four-wheel vented discs with an anti-lock system.
The front bucket seats and the individual rear seats are upholstered in tan Connolly leather and are accompanied by a color-coordinated lower dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional appointments include air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a gated shifter in addition to a nonoperational Clarion CD stereo. The air-conditioning compressor and receiver drier were replaced in April 2025. The electronic trunk and fuel-door releases do not work, but their mechanical counterparts do. Worn seat upholstery is depicted in the gallery.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 38k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.
The longitudinally mounted 3.4-liter F119D V8 features two overhead camshafts per cylinder bank, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic digital engine management. It was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The timing belts and tensioner-pulley bearings were replaced in April 2025, and other work that year included adjusting the valves, repairing an oil-cooler hose, and changing the oil in addition to refinishing the valve covers and replacing the battery, accessory belts, spark plugs, air and fuel filters, and cam cover gaskets and seals.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and the clutch slave cylinder was rebuilt in April 2025. A Hyperflow non-catalyst exhaust system has been fitted.
Owner’s and shop manuals, a tool kit, and a battery charger are included in the sale, as are various spare parts including removed exhaust components.
The Carfax report is free of accident or damage entries.
The car cannot pass a California smog test, and it cannot be sold to an in-state private-party buyer.
The car is registered as Planned Non-Operation in the state of California.
