This 1986 Ferrari Testarossa was purchased by the current owner in 1996 and shows 30k miles following registration history in Hawaii and Washington. The car is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 linked to a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige Connolly leather upholstery. Features include a limited-slip differential, a monospecchio “flying mirror”, 16″ Etiole 55B wheels, pop-up headlights, power windows, and a gated shifter. A major recomissioning service completed in 2025 included removing the engine and transaxle for cleaning, draining and replacing the fluids, and replacing the timing belts, battery, fuel filter, air filter, drive belts, and more. This Testarossa is offered in North Carolina on dealer consignment with manufacturer’s literature, service records, the removed factory metric wheels, a tire jack kit, a clean Carfax report, and a Washington title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and features a single left-A-pillar-mounted monospecchio “flying mirror” as well as pop-up headlights, fog lights, an asymmetrical cooling duct beneath the left fog lamp, side intake strakes, black-finished rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets. The front spoiler and right-side A-pillar have been refinished.
The 16″ Etiole 55B wheels feature gold accents and are mounted with BFGoodrich tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cockpit is trimmed in beige Connolly leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior amenities include a gated shifter and power windows. The air conditioning system does not blow cold.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 30k miles, approximately 3,700 of which were added under current ownership. There is wear on the dashboard ahead of the steering wheel.
The 4.9-liter flat-12 was factory rated at 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Following approximately a decade of disuse, the car was recomissioned in August 2025. Work is estimated to have totaled ~$28k and involved removing the engine, subframe, transaxle, and suspension, draining the fuel system, and cleaning components throughout along with performing a timing belt service and replacing fuel lines, the water pump seal, spark plugs, battery, fuel filter, air filter, drive belts, various hoses, fluids, and additional parts as detailed on the invoice below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The catalytic converter has been removed, and the selling dealer notes that the transmission intermittently pops out of second gear.
