992-Mile 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale A

This 2015 Ferrari 458 is one of a planned 499 open-top Speciale A models produced from 2014 to 2015 and has 992 miles. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa with white stripes over Nero Alcantara upholstery accented by Rosso inserts and is powered by a 4.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronic differential. It rides on 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels coupled with magnetorheological dampers as well as red Ferrari/Brembo brake calipers over carbon-ceramic discs at all four corners. Further details include a power-retractable hardtop, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, carbon-backed bucket seats, and active aerodynamics. This 458 Speciale A is now offered s part of the WOB Ferrari Fall Festival collection on dealer consignment with a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The 458 was designed by Ferrari’s Donato Coco in collaboration with Pininfarina, and the Speciale trim added an active horizontal front-end flap to divert air under the car, spring-loaded doors to direct air from the radiators at high speeds, aero fins on the side skirts, a motor-actuated drag-reduction system at the rear end, and a revised rear diffuser with dual exhaust outlets.

This example is finished in Rosso Corsa with white over-the top stripes. It is further equipped with a power-retractable hardtop and Scuderia Ferrari fender shields as well as adaptive xenon headlights paired with LED taillights.

The 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 245/35 up front and 305/30 out back. The mid-mounted 4.5-liter V8 was reworked for the Speciale A with a carbon-fiber intake assembly and a 14:1 compression ratio along with a revised intake system and camshafts. Factory-rated output was 605 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronic differential.
