This Ferrari 12-cylinder engine block was given to the seller in 2018, who was told it came from a 365 GTB/4. The block previously sustained damage and was repaired under current ownership. The aluminum block is fitted with main bearing caps and is now offered at no reserve in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
Ferrari 365 Daytona models were powered by a 4.4-liter V12, an evolution of earlier Colombo designs. It was conveyed to the seller that this aluminum engine block was removed from a 365 GTB/4, and it has been repaired. Per the seller, each cylinder has a bore of 81.518 mm. The block retains main bearing caps.
The block is stamped with codes 12681 and B96. Close-up photos are presented in the gallery.
