This 1992 Ferrari 512 TR is one of 408 examples delivered to North America between 1992 and 1994, and it shows 28k miles following the current owner’s purchase. The car is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 that received replacement timing belts in 2025, and shifting is through a five-speed manual transaxle. Finished in Rosso Corsa over beige Connolly leather upholstery, it is equipped with a limited-slip differential, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, power windows, an Alpine stereo, and a gated shifter. This 512 TR is offered in California on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a tool kit, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The Pininfarina-designed 512 TR was introduced as the updated successor to the Testarossa in 1991, with revisions that included restyled bumper covers as well as revised wheels and lighting. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, side intake strakes, body-color rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets.
Silver 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cockpit is trimmed in beige Connolly leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior amenities include an Alpine stereo, motorized seat belts, and a gated shifter located on the center console alongside controls for the air conditioning and power windows.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 28k miles.
The 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12 received updates over the version used in the Testarossa, including Nikasil cylinder liners, a redesigned intake system, and Bosch engine management. Output was rated at 421 horsepower and 362 lb-ft of torque when new. A timing belt service was completed in November 2025, at which time the drive belts, oxygen sensors, valve cover gaskets, water pump seal, fuel pump, and various fuel and coolant hoses were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch assembly was replaced in 2019, and in 2025, the transaxle fluid was changed and the shifter shaft seal and shifter bushings were replaced.
