This European-market 1985 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole cabriolet was imported to the US in 1986 and remained under the care of two previous owners prior to the selling dealer’s purchase in 2022. It is powered by a 2.9-liter F105A V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a black soft top, a gated shifter, power windows, an Alpine CD stereo, and air conditioning. This Mondial Quattrovalvole cabriolet is offered in California by the selling dealer with two Carfax reports and a Michigan title.

The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa and features a black soft top, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, side air intakes, black lower bodywork, and quadruple exhaust outlets. A July 2012 entry on the Carfax report lists damage to the rear of the car.

The silver-finished 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel vented discs.

The four-place cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in beige leather, along with red carpeting and a color-coordinated lower dashboard, center console, and door trim. Ferrari-branded floor mats line the footwells, and a fire extinguisher is mounted beneath the passenger seat. Interior features include a gated shifter, an Alpine CD stereo, power windows, and air conditioning.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a replacement 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 52k miles, although it does not work.

The transverse 2.9-liter F105A V8 features aluminum construction and was upgraded in the Quattrovalvole model with four valves per cylinder. The engine also uses two overhead camshafts per cylinder bank and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection to produce a factory-rated 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. The battery was recently replaced.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report for VIN ZFFLC15B000056351 is free of accidents or other reported damage. The car was previously titled under the VIN ZFFLC158000056351, and a second Carfax report for this number is shown in the gallery and lists the aforementioned July 2012 damage.
The car has a duplicate Michigan title and is located in California. It has not undergone a California emissions test or been inspected by the California Air Resources Board.
