This 1990 Ferrari Testarossa project was involved in a collision in 2025 and will require body, suspension, and cooling system repairs prior to regular use. Power comes from a 4.9-liter flat-12 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt during a ~$44k service in 2022, at which time the timing belts were also replaced. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, power windows, a cassette stereo, and a gated shifter. Finished in Rosso Corsa over beige Connolly leather, the car was initially delivered to Cornes Motors in San Diego, California, and now shows 14k miles following the current owner’s purchase in 2025. This Testarossa project is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and an Illinois title.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, an asymmetrical cooling duct beneath the left fog lamp, and quad exhaust outlets.

An October 2025 entry on the Carfax report lists a side-impact collision with another motor vehicle that resulted in damage to the right side and right rear of the car. The selling dealer tells us that the right-side radiator is damaged and that the alignment is out of specification.

The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. The brake fluid was changed in 2025.

The cockpit is trimmed in beige Connolly leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior amenities include a cassette stereo, motorized seat belts, and a gated shifter located on the center console alongside controls for the power windows and R134a-based air conditioning.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 14k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.9-liter flat-12 was factory rated at 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out timing belt service was completed in May 2022, and the following components were replaced at that time:
- Fuse board
- Drive belts
- Fuel pumps
- Fuel filter
- Spark plugs
- Water pump hose
An oil change was performed in September 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt in 2022 as part of the engine-out service, when the clutch assembly was also replaced. The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, and fluids for the transaxle and clutch were changed in 2025.

A copy of the window sticker lists initial delivery to Cornes Motors in San Diego, California, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $168,050. Service records and manufacturer’s literature are included in the sale.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned October 2025 damage.
The Illinois title lists “Mileage Not Required” beneath the Legend(s) section.
