This 1979 Ferrari 400 Automatic was imported to the US under previous ownership, and it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2026. Powered by a 4.8-liter Colombo quad-cam V12 linked to a three-speed transmission and a limited-slip differential, the car is finished in Azzurro Metallic over tan upholstery. Equipment includes six Weber carburetors, pop-up quad headlights, fog lights, hood louvers, quad taillights, independent front and rear suspension, disc brakes, 15″ five-lug Cromodora five-spoke alloy wheels, front bucket seats, twin individual rear seats, a central rear armrest, power windows, a Blaupunkt CD stereo, and air conditioning with supplemental rear controls. This 400 is now offered in Florida by the selling dealer with a tool kit and a clean Montana title that lists the car as a 1979 Ferrari 400 GT.

The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Azzurro Metallic and features pop-up quad headlights, fog lights, hood louvers, quad circular taillights, a black taillight panel, black bumpers, Pininfarina badging, and quad exhaust outlets. LED lights are said to have been installed under previous ownership. Paint chips are present on the left front portion of the hood, paint cracks are visible near the left door handle, delamination is visible on the rear window, there is a dent near the left rear turn signal, and additional photos of the paint and trim condition are viewable in the gallery below.

The 15″ five-lug Cromodora five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 215/70 Kelly Edge A/S tires. The car features an independent front and rear suspension, and stopping power is provided by discs at all four corners.

The front bucket seats were reupholstered in tan under previous ownership, and the individual rear seats are upholstered in matching leather. Interior amenities include pod-mounted vents atop the dash, a central rear armrest, power windows, a Blaupunkt CD stereo, and air conditioning with supplemental controls for the rear passengers. Fraying is visible on a portion of the right front seatbelt.

A leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer and a 300-km/h speedometer, as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A quartz clock and gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, and amperage are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 29k kilometers (~18k miles), approximately 5 kilometers of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.8-liter F101 Colombo quad-cam V12 is equipped with six Weber carburetors and was factory rated at 335 horsepower. The inlets to the air clean boxes have been shortened. The air conditioning was converted to R134a refrigerant under previous ownership, and the selling dealer tells us that the fluids and filters were replaced in January 2026.
