This 1986 Ferrari 328 is one of approximately 6,068 removable-top GTS examples produced, and it has spent the last 14 years with the seller, with whom it has covered about 5k of the 24k miles shown. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather, and power is provided by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes concave 16″ Speedline alloy wheels, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, a gated shifter, power windows, and a Blaupunkt radio. Repairs were carried out in November 2001 following a fire, and an $8k timing-belt service was completed in August 2016. This 328 GTS is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, 25 years of service records, tools, and a California title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) with a black removable roof panel. Evidence of paintwork is noted to the engine lid, and the Carfax report shows that a Salvage-branded title was issued in New York in November 1995, which the seller attributes to a fire.

Concave 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle GT tires with date codes from 2012. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs.

The bucket seats are trimmed in beige leather, while the dashboard is upholstered in black. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, power windows, a Blaupunkt radio, and a rear-window defroster. The air-conditioning system has been converted to use R134a refrigerant, but the system no longer works. The five-digit odometer shows 24k miles, about 5k of which were added by the seller.

The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. The seller tells us that they have performed fluids services annually, and work in August 2016 included adjusting the valves, adjusting the timing, a timing-belt service, and replacing various seals. Services records can be seen in the gallery below.

Under prior ownership in November 2001, fire damage was repaired by Independent Ferrari Service of South Easton, Massachusetts. Work included replacing a variety of electrical-system components, and the seller notes evidence of paintwork out back. A related invoice is shown above.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The right axle shaft and the CV boots were replaced in August 2016.
The Carfax report shows that a Salvage-branded title was issued in New York in November 1995, and the seller attributes this entry to the aforementioned fire. The report shows that the vehicle was subsequently in the care of an automotive recycler, and a title-washing warning appears in the report in a July 2002 entry. A redacted image of the current California title is viewable in the gallery below.
