This 1987 Ferrari Testarossa is a European-market example that was brought to the US in 1987, sold on BaT in November 2017, and acquired by the seller on the site in November 2022. Work since that time involved servicing the air conditioning system and fuel distributors, repairing the pop-up headlight risers, turn signal stalk, starter solenoid, and glove compartment latch, and replacing the battery, rubber brake lines, window switches, and climate control knobs. Finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero leather, the car is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 linked to a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 16″ Cromodora alloy wheels, a gated shifter, and an Alpine head unit. This Testarossa is now offered in California with partial service records, a tool roll, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and features pop-up headlights, an asymmetrical cooling duct beneath the left fog lamp, side intake strakes, black-finished rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets. The headlight risers have been repaired, and the seller notes that the fog lights do not work. Touch-up paint has been applied to various scratches.

Silver 16″ Cromodora five-spoke alloy wheels were refinished in 2019 and are wrapped in 225/50 front and 255/50 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 tires. The four-wheel disc brakes received replacement rubber lines and fluid under current ownership.

The cockpit houses bucket seats trimmed in Nero leather, and color-matching material extends to the dashboard and door panels. Appointments include a gated shifter, an Alpine head unit, a rear window defroster, and power windows. Work under current ownership involved repairing the glove compartment latch, servicing the air conditioning system, and replacing the headlamp switch stalk and relays, air conditioning schraeder valve, window switches, and climate control dials.

The MOMO steering wheel sits ahead of Veglia instrumentation consisting of a replacement 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline alongside gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. An analog clock and auxiliary readouts for fuel level and oil temperature are stationed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 65k kilometers (~40k miles), approximately 3,400 of which have been added under current ownership. The speedometer was repaired and the center console odometer assembly was replaced in August 2019. Total mileage is unknown.

The 4.9-liter flat-12 was factory rated at 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out timing belt service was performed in August 2019, and work under current ownership involved repairing the fuse box, servicing the fuel distributors, installing a starter relay, and replacing the battery and various fuses. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The shift-shaft seal is seeping. A custom exhaust system is fitted, and the clutch components, flywheel, transaxle mounts, and fluid pan gaskets were replaced in August 2019. The vehicle has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair or Air Resources Board, and the seller tells us that it cannot pass a California emissions test.
