This 1985 Ferrari Testarossa is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige Connolly leather upholstery. Showing 11k miles, the car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, a Capristo exhaust system, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a single left-A-pillar-mounted monospecchio “flying mirror”, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, power windows, a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, and a gated shifter. Work performed in 2024 has included adjusting the valves and replacing the timing belts, valve cover gaskets, camshaft seals, spark plugs, ignition rotor, battery, coolant hoses, and brake booster. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this Testarossa is offered in New York with a spare set of wheels, service records, a clean Carfax report, and Connecticut registration.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and features a single left-A-pillar-mounted monospecchio “flying mirror” as well as pop-up headlights, fog lights, an asymmetrical cooling duct beneath the left fog lamp, side intake strakes, black-finished rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Silver 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires that have 2022 and 2023 date codes. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. The brake booster was replaced in 2024.
The cockpit is trimmed in beige Connolly leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, air conditioning, power windows, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer head unit linked to aftermarket speakers.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 11k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. The tachometer was repaired in preparation for the sale.
The 4.9-liter flat-12 was factory rated at 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was completed in October 2024, at which time the valves were adjusted, and the valve cover gaskets, camshaft seals, spark plugs, ignition rotor, battery, and coolant hoses were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Capristo exhaust system has been added.
A set of 415 mm Cromodora five-spoke alloy wheels will accompany the sale.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage from its first entry in November 1999.
The vehicle does not have a title, as it is located in a state that does not issue titles to vehicles of its age. It is being offered on its Connecticut registration.
