This 1983 Ferrari 308 GTB Quattrovalvole shows 31k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added subsequent to the car’s sale on BaT in July 2018. Finished in Bianco over Nero leather, the car is powered by a 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The aftermarket sound system incorporates a Blaupunkt Berlin SQR 83 cassette receiver and the corresponding “gooseneck” digital tuner, while other equipment includes 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a quad-exit exhaust system, air conditioning, a gated shifter, and electric windows. A timing-belt service was carried out in July 2023. This 308 GTB Quattrovalvole is now offered by the selling dealer in Tennessee with service records, tools, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The car was finished from the factory in Bianco (100), and the selling dealer notes evidence of a repaint under prior ownership. Features include pop-up headlights, dual side mirrors, a vented deck lid, and quad exhaust outlets.
Silver 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. The brake master cylinder was replaced in July 2023.
The cockpit features bolstered seats trimmed in Nero leather upholstery along with matching door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, electric windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The sound system incorporates a Blaupunkt Berlin SQR 83 cassette receiver and a “gooseneck” digital tuner.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary gauges. Additional readouts are mounted ahead of the shifter. The six-digit odometer shows 31k miles.
The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four valves per cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed in July 2023, and related invoices are shown in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transmission pan gasket was replaced in July 2023.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage.
