This 1984 Ferrari 512 BBi is one of 1,007 fuel-injected examples produced over a four-year production run, and it is powered by a mid-mounted 4.9L flat-12 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Chassis 49315 is said to have been individually imported to the United States when new and remained in Georgia with the original owner until 1999, when it was purchased by the second owner in California’s Bay Area. It was sold again in 2011 before being acquired by the current owner on BaT in August 2022. Finished in Rosso Corsa, the car features pop-up headlights and yellow-lens Cibié fog lights along with aluminum hood louvers and a black high-mount rear spoiler and engine lid grilles. Inside, Daytona-style seats trimmed in tan leather are accompanied by a MOMO steering wheel and a gated dogleg shifter along with air conditioning and an Alpine head unit. Further equipment includes a limited-slip differential, Koni adjustable shocks, and center-lock metric wheels.
