This luggage set was produced by Schedoni of Modena for use with a Ferrari 348, and it consists of a two-piece hard-side case and medium and large suitcases. Each piece is constructed of tan leather with a beige interior lining and features contrasting stitching, brass hardware, and debossed Ferrari prancing horse logos. Acquired by the seller in 2024, the set is now offered at no reserve in Glen Cove, New York, with padlocks, keys, key wallets, luggage tags, and a velocity-stack-style pen holder.
The medium and large suitcases feature debossed prancing horse logos on the front as well as black zippers, leather twin-loop handles, and a leather closure strap with brass hardware. They are lined with coated beige cloth and have storage pockets and straps to secure contents. Wear on the leather can be seen in the gallery.
The two-piece hard-side case consists of an upper vanity case and a detachable lower case. The top case features a single handle and two locking fastener clasps. The bottom piece is equipped with a hook-and-loop flap along with two brass plates that latch onto the upper case. Each piece carries a leather patch attached to its liner, showing that the luggage was produced by Schedoni in Modena, Italy.
Luggage tags, padlocks, keys, and key wallets will accompany the set along with a brown dust bag for the hard-side case.
A pen holder modelled after the velocity stacks on the V12 engine of the Ferrari 641 that competed in the 1990 Formula One World Championship is included in the sale.
