This 1993 Ferrari 512 TR is one of 408 examples delivered to North America between 1992 and 1994, and it has remained registered in California for two decades and shows 21k miles. Powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in Nero over Nero Connolly leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a Tubi Style exhaust system, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, power windows, a Blaupunkt stereo, and a gated shifter. Work performed in 2023 included rebuilding the water pump and replacing the timing belts, drive belts, and spark plugs. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this 512 TR is offered in New Jersey with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The Pininfarina-designed 512 TR was introduced as the updated successor to the Testarossa in 1991, with revisions that included restyled bumper covers as well as revised wheels and lighting. This example is finished in Nero and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, side intake strakes, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, body-color rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets. Silver 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that have 2023 date codes. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cockpit is trimmed in Nero Connolly leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior amenities include a Blaupunkt stereo, motorized seat belts, and a gated shifter located on the center console alongside controls for the air conditioning and power windows.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 21k miles.
The 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12 received updates over the version used in the Testarossa including Nikasil cylinder liners, a redesigned intake system, and Bosch engine management. Output was rated at 421 horsepower and 362 lb-ft of torque when new. A timing belt service was completed in December 2023, at which time the water pump was rebuilt and the coolant hoses, fuel filter, spark plugs, and drive belts were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced and the bell housing was resealed. A Tubi Style exhaust system is installed.
