This 1989 Ferrari 328 is one of approximately 6,068 removable-top GTS examples produced. The car was first used as a demonstration vehicle and was acquired by its first registered owner in 1997, remaining in their collection until the current owner’s purchase in 2012. Finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero leather upholstery, it is powered by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 that received an engine-out timing belt service in 2023, and shifting is through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel anti-lock ventilated disc brakes, a gated shifter, an aftermarket stereo, power windows, and air conditioning. This 328 GTS shows 8k miles and is offered on dealer consignment with manufacturer’s literature, service records dating from 2023, spare and removed parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) and features a removable black roof panel. Staggered-width convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs with ABS, which was introduced to the 328 in the middle of the 1988 model-year production.

The bucket seats are trimmed in Nero leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, an aftermarket stereo, power windows, air conditioning, and a rear-window defroster. The removed factory map light accompanies the car.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 1,300 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out timing belt service was completed in 2023, and a Tubi Style exhaust system has been installed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transmission pan was resealed and axle seal was replaced in 2023.

The warranty card in the Ferrari Owner’s Warranty and Service book bears a “Demonstrator” stamp and a date of February 2, 1990. Additional manufacturer’s literature, 2023 invoices, and spare and removed parts will accompany the car.
