This 1989 Ferrari 328 is one of approximately 6,068 removable-top GTS examples produced and is finished in Nero over Nero leather upholstery. The original owner and current owner were next-door neighbors, and the current owner has added approximately 13k of its 25k miles shown since his acquisition. Power is provided by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels, a gated shifter, power windows, a Sony stereo, a LoJack GPS theft recovery system, and air conditioning. Work performed in September 2023 included replacing the timing belts, drive belts, fuel filter, and battery. This 328 GTS is offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, two sets of keys, a tool kit and jack, a car cover, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Nero and features a removable black roof panel. Additional exterior details include pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, dual side mirrors, a power antenna, a black spoiler mounted over the rear window, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. The rear exhaust grille surround has been repaired, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Staggered-width convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Stopping power is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs with ABS.
The seats are trimmed in Nero leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, power windows, R134a-based air conditioning, a rear-window defroster, drilled aluminum pedals, and a Sony head unit linked to an amplifier. A LoJack GPS theft recovery system has been installed. A spare shift knob and a Sony 10-disc CD changer included in the sale are shown in the gallery below.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 25k miles, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was completed in September 2023, at which time the tensioner bearings, drive belts, fuel filter, and battery were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The gear oil was changed in 2023.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Autohaus in Cohasset, Massachusetts, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $84,780. A tool kit, jack, car cover, two sets of keys, spare parts, manufacturer’s literature, and service records dating back to new will accompany the sale.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
