This 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello is finished in Azzurro California over Cuoio leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V12 linked with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with a Tubi Style axle-back exhaust system, 18″ alloy wheels, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, automatic climate control, a quilted headliner and parcel shelf, and a gated shifter. The current owner acquired the car in 2020 and work under current ownership included performing a timing belt service, servicing the air conditioning system, replacing the clutch, overhauling the suspension and brakes, and repairing sticky switchgear. This 550 Maranello shows 47k miles and is offered on dealer consignment with a factory stereo head unit, a window sticker, an owner’s manual, a tool kit, service records, a Carfax report, and a Texas title.
The Pininfarina-designed aluminum bodywork is finished in Azzurro California. Exterior details include front and rear lip spoilers, fog lights, projector-style headlights, a functional hood scoop, front fender vents, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a left quarter panel vent feeding a transaxle cooler, and quad exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. The Carfax report notes a damage entry in April 2004, which the selling dealer states resulted from a catalytic converter overheating. Paint meter readings from around the bodywork are presented in the gallery.
The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. Braking is handled by silver-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. Work under current ownership included replacing the front control arm bushings, ball joints, and sway bar end links as well as the brake lines, rotors, pads, and brake cooling ducts.
The power-adjustable Daytona-style seats are upholstered in Cuoio leather that extends to the quilted headliner and parcel shelf, lower dashboard, center console, and door panels. The dashboard is contrast stiched in Cuoio and additional appointments include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, electric windows, drilled pedal covers, and rear luggage straps. Sticky switchgear was addressed in 2024. The factory alarm functions, but the siren and audible “chirp” confirmations are inoperative, and the ASR traction control switch and aftermarket stereo do not work. A factory stereo head unit is included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure, while an analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 47k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.5-liter quad-cam F133A V12 was factory rated at 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque and features 48 valves, dry-sump lubrication, Bosch Motronic engine management, and a Tubi Style axle-back exhaust system. Work under current ownership included rebuilding the air conditioning compressor and replacing the water pump, power steering hose, secondary air injection solenoid, air filters, fuel filters, crankshaft position sensors, crankshaft seals, camshaft bearings, and valve cover gaskets. The most recent timing belt service was performed in November 2024, and compression test results from that time are presented in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch master cylinder, hydraulic line, clutch, driveshaft bearings, torque-tube spacers, and transaxle mounts were replaced in 2022. Work in 2024 consisted of changing the transaxle fluid and replacing the front undertray.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Ferrari of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida along with factory colors, standard and optional equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $223,536.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report in April 2004.
There is currently a lien on the car, and the current owner’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
