This display piece was built to resemble the Ferrari F2002 car driven to a World Driver’s Championship title by Michael Schumacher during the 2002 Formula One season. The piece is constructed of polyethylene, and it wears a #1 white and red livery. Features include a faux overhead intake and sidepods as well as sponsor logos and a carbon-fiber base with mounting points. This F2002-style display model is now offered at no reserve in Poole, England.
The Rory Byrne-designed Ferrari F2002 debuted at the 2002 Brazilian Grand Prix and secured wins in 15 out of 19 races at the hands of drivers Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. This display piece was styled after the bodywork of the #1 car and constructed by hand using polyethylene. It wears a red and white Scuderia Ferrari Formula One Team livery with sponsor logos including Shell, Vodafone, and Marlboro.
Faux intakes are present on both sidepods, while an overhead intake is visible above the cockpit.
The piece is affixed atop a carbon-fiber base with holes for mounting. It measures approximately 47.25″ long by 19.75″ wide.
