This 1998 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta is a left-hand-drive European-market example that was imported into the US in December 2001. It is finished in Rosso Corsa over black Connolly leather and is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a gated six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, sport seats, a gated shifter, automatic climate control, a Sony cassette stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. The car was acquired by the seller on BaT in January 2024, and subsequent work included installing a Capristo FreeFlow exhaust system and performing an engine-out service that included replacing the timing belts. This F355 Berlinetta is now offered in Florida with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa, and styling incorporates pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. The hood and engine cover struts were replaced in 2024.
The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 265/40 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that were installed in 2024. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner.
The cabin houses sport seats trimmed in black Connolly leather, and matching leather extends to the center console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Interior features include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, a Sony cassette stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. Sticky buttons were reportedly repaired under prior ownership, and noted flaws include a crack on a driver-side vent as well as a sticky steering column surround and vents.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The speedometer has been replaced, and the six-digit odometer shows 9k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An engine-out service performed in 2024 included performing an oil change, flushing the coolant, and replacing the water pump, thermostat, tensioner pulley, timing belts, accessory belts, valve cover gaskets, and spark plugs.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The seller states that a Capristo FreeFlow exhaust system with a bypass exhaust valve kit and a remote control has been installed.
