This 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider is finished in Rosso Corsa over tan leather and powered by a 3.6-liter V8 linked with a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Further equipment includes black-finished 18″ alloy wheels, xenon headlights, fender shields, and a Challenge-style rear grille as well as a black convertible soft top, automatic climate control, and an Alpine stereo. The car was sold new in Texas, where it has remained registered through the seller’s acquisition in 2017. Now indicating 28k miles, this 360 Spider is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The Pininfarina-designed aluminum body is finished in Rosso Corsa with Scuderia Ferrari fender shields. Additional equipment includes xenon headlights, a Challenge-style rear grille, and quad exhaust outlets exiting through the rear fascia. The power-retractable black convertible soft top was replaced in 2017, and the hydraulic cylinders were repaired in 2022.
Black-finished 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 225/45 up front and 275/40 at the rear. Stopping power is from black-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at each corner.
The bolstered bucket seats are upholstered in tan leather, which extends to the lower dash as well as the doors. An Alpine stereo has been added, and further details include automatic climate control, aluminum pedals, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The air conditioning compressor was rebuilt in 2021.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a digital fuel level readout and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. Paddle shifters for the F1 gearbox are mounted behind the steering wheel. The digital odometer indicates 28k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership. The seller notes that the speedometer reads approximately 10% higher than the actual speed of the car.
The mid-mounted 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication, dual overhead camshafts, and five valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 395 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Service under current ownership has involved replacing the fuel pump assembly, temperature probe, intake gaskets, spark plugs, and rollover shutoff valves in addition to cleaning the injectors.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an electrohydraulic six-speed F1 sequential transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Scrapes are present on the underside.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
