This 1987 Ferrari 412 is finished in Nero Metallizzato over red Connolly leather and is powered by a 4.9-liter Colombo V12 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller purchased the car in 2025. Unveiled at the 1972 Paris Motor Show as the successor to the 365 GTC/4, the 365 GT4 2+2 featured bodywork by Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina and was built through 1976, when it was replaced by the updated 400 model. The cars were not officially offered in the US, though some were imported and federalized in-period via the gray market.

The 412 replaced the 400i and featured body-color bumpers in addition to a revised front spoiler and sill panels. The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Nero Metallizzato (901/C) and features pop-up quad headlights, fog lights, hood louvers, quad circular taillights, a body-color taillight panel, Pininfarina badging, and aftermarket window tint. The passenger-side headlight motor and headlight main switch were replaced in August 2025. There is missing trim on the driver-side headlight and a cracked trunk trim panel.

The 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 215/50 front and 255/45 rear Toyo Extensa HP II tires that were fitted in August 2025. A metric spare is located in the trunk. The car is equipped with independent front and rear suspension as well as Boge self-leveling rear shocks. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock disc brakes at all four corners. The rear brake calipers were replaced in June 2025, and the power steering lines and rear suspension lines were replaced in August 2025.

The cabin features front bucket seats and individual rear seats upholstered in red Connolly leather, accented by color-coordinated door panels. Black carpets cover the floors and are protected by matching mats with red prancing horse logos. Interior amenities include a center console, a rear armrest, power windows, dual-zone climate control, and supplementary rear-seat air conditioning controls. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat bolster. In 2025, the air conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant, the passenger-side power window wiring was repaired, and a Kenwood CD/Bluetooth stereo was installed along with replacement speakers and an antenna.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A quartz clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles. Total mileage is unknown.

The 4.9-liter F101 Colombo V12 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The engine bay features a DieHard Silver battery and dual UFI oil filters. Service in August 2025 included changing the oil and replacing the engine mounts, spark plugs, starter motor, and fuse and relay board.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission mount was replaced in August 2025. The catalytic converters were deleted and ANSA mufflers and stainless-steel exhaust pipes were installed in September 2025.
