This 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB is finished in Rosso Chiaro over tan and black leather, and it is powered by a 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 connected to a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels, Scuderia Ferrari fender decals, a Blaupunkt head unit, a MOMO steering wheel, air conditioning, a gated shifter, and electric windows. The current owner purchased the car about nine years ago, and it has since been driven 1,100 miles. This 308 GTB shows 32k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve in California as part of The LeVett Collection with a clean Texas title.

The 308 GTB was introduced at the 1975 Paris Motor Show and featured Pininfarina-styled bodywork. The car is finished in Rosso Chiaro and has been provided with aftermarket Scuderia Ferrari fender decals. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

Silver 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels show imperfections and are mounted with Michelin XWX tires. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner.

Trimmed in tan leather, the cabin features black leather accents, twin high-back bucket seats, a Blaupunkt head unit, air conditioning, power windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The rearview mirror is missing, and signs of wear in the cabin are photographed in the gallery below.

The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary readouts in the cluster along with additional gauges to the left of the steering wheel. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles, approximately 1,100 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four twin-choke Weber 40DCNF carburetors and was factory rated at 237 horsepower.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Signs of corrosion are noted beneath the car, and additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
The car is titled in Texas but is located in California, and it cannot pass a California emissions inspection. Therefore, it cannot be sold to a California private-party buyer.
The LeVett estate will donate a portion of the winning bid on this auction to the Doris Day Animal Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Public Charity founded in 1978.
