This replica Ferrari F60 steering wheel was produced by Amalgam Collection of Bristol, England, under license from Ferrari, and is displayed on a red base. The wheel is fitted with a faux screen, shift paddles, LED lights, switches, and buttons for various vehicle functions. An aluminum protective case and an Amalgam Collection Certificate of Authenticity are included. Acquired by the seller in 2011, the wheel is now offered at no reserve in Miami, Florida.
The F60 was campaigned by Scuderia Ferrari and piloted by Felipe Massa, Luca Badoer, Giancarlo Fisichella, and Kimi Räikkönen during the 2009 Formula One season. This 1:1-scale replica steering wheel features a central dial below a faux screen with integrated tachometer lights, as well as assorted buttons, switches, and toggle controls. These operate various vehicle functions, including the radio and drink system, along with engine, brake, and differential settings.
A label is affixed to the rear of the steering wheel along with a quick-release mount, switches, and shift paddles. The seller notes that the wheel and the base each have a protective perspex cover.
The display tag designates the piece as number 2 of 250 examples produced.
The wheel and display can be stored in a padded aluminum case with a black finish, brushed edge trim, and polished corners and latches.
