This 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider shows 40k miles following initial delivery to Motor Imports of San Antonio, Texas, and it was previously sold on BaT in November 2020. Finished in Modena Yellow with a black soft top over black Connolly leather, the car is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, a gated shifter, and a Blaupunkt stereo. Work in August 2026 totaled ~$14k and involved a major engine-out service with replacement of the timing belts, belt tensioners, valve cover gaskets, and more as detailed below. This F355 Spider is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Modena Yellow (4305) and features a power-operated black convertible soft top, a black top boot, integrated front fog lamps, and pop-up headlights. The elastic soft top bands were replaced in October 2019, and the front hood struts were replaced in 2026. The front bumper was repainted immediately following the 2020 auction, and the air scoop has also been repaired.
The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes with Ferrari-branded calipers. The suspension actuator gear was replaced in September 2020, and the brake fluid was changed in preparation for the sale.
The cabin is trimmed in Black Connolly leather, and it features power-adjustable sport seats, a gated shifter, and a Blaupunkt stereo. The blend door was replaced when the automatic climate control was serviced in September 2020. The selling dealer notes that sticky buttons have been refinished, and the passenger airbag cover was recovered in 2026.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 40k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 produced 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque when new. The catalytic converters were replaced in 2019, while the exhaust manifolds were replaced in September 2020. Service work carried out in August 2026 included recharging the air conditioning system, changing the oil, and replacing the timing belts, belt tensioners, valve cover gaskets, air filters, decklid shocks, and a coolant hose.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The gearbox fluid was changed in 2026.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
The car has not passed a California emissions test.
