331-Mile, Ex–Phil Bachman 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS

This 1989 Ferrari 328 shows 331 miles and is said to be the last example built for the US market. The car was purchased new by collector Phil Bachman through Thoroughbred Motorcars in Nashville, Tennessee, and it remained in his collection until earlier this year. It is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige and brown leather, and power is provided by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 linked with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel anti-lock ventilated disc brakes, a gated shifter, power windows, and air conditioning. This 328 GTS is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, Schedoni luggage, owner’s manuals, service records, memorabilia, a clean Carfax report, and a Florida title.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) and is one of approximately 6,068 removable-top GTS cars produced. It features pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, twin side mirrors, a power antenna, a red-finished spoiler mounted over the rear window, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance.

Staggered-width convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with older Goodyear Eagle ZR55 tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs with ABS, which was introduced to the 328 in the middle of 1988 model-year production. The power steering rack was resealed in March 2024.

The bucket seats are trimmed in beige leather, while brown leather covers the dashboard and accents the door panels. Interior amenities include power windows, air conditioning, a rear-window defroster, and Ferrari-script floor mats.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel is paired with a dogleg-pattern gated shifter and frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 331 miles.

The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. A belt service was performed in March 2024, and oil leaks were addressed at that time.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.

​The window sticker lists initial delivery to Thoroughbred Motorcars in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as factory equipment, colors, and a total suggested retail price of $85,895. The sale also includes Schedoni luggage, owner’s manuals, service records, and memorabilia.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage from an initial update in November 2025.

There is currently a lien on the car, and the lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
