This European-market 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole was imported to the US and federalized in the early 1980s and spent much of its life in Texas. Finished in Rosso Chiaro over Beige leather, the car has been modified with Koenig wide bodywork with vented rear fenders. Its 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 received a timing belt service in 2026, and additional work in preparation for the sale included recharging the air conditioning system, reupholstering the seats, refinishing the 18″ BBS wheels, replacing the ignition wires, and installing QA1 coilovers and Michelin tires. Additional equipment includes a five-speed manual transaxle, a limited-slip differential, pop-up headlights, a removable roof panel, a quad-exit exhaust system, a gated shifter, and electric windows. This 308 GTS Quattrovalvole is now offered by the selling dealer as part of DriverSource’s Oktmotorfest 2026 Collection with service records, manufacturer’s literature, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

Willy König founded Koenig-Specials in 1977 as a provider of conversions for a range of Ferrari models and other high-end marques. In addition to aerodynamically oriented fiberglass body panels, the company offered a variety of chassis modifications and engine tuning packages. This example is finished in Rosso Chiaro and features a removable body-color Targa roof, flared and vented fenders, side skirts, front and rear spoilers, and integrated side mirrors.

The 18″ BBS wheels were reconditioned in 2026 and subsequently mounted with 235/40 front and 285/35 rear Michelin tires. QA1 Pro-Ma coilovers were also installed at that time, and the rear sway bar brackets and bushings were replaced. The brake booster was rebuilt in 2015 and rebuilt calipers were installed in 2016.

The cockpit features bolstered seats were re-trimmed in beige leather with black strips in August 2026. The air conditioning system was also recharged at that time, and equipment includes a cassette stereo, electric windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern.

A replacement leather-wrapped steering wheel was installed in 2026, and it fronts Veglia instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary gauges. Additional readouts are mounted ahead of the shifter. The six-digit odometer shows 62k miles.

The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 is equipped with four valves per cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed in 2026, the oil was changed, and the ignition wires were replaced.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket exhaust system is installed.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
