Designed by Tom Tjaarda at Pininfarina, the 330 GT debuted at the Brussels Motor Show in early 1964 as a replacement for the 330 America. It features a longer wheelbase and a wider grille than its predecessor, while the Series II model was introduced for 1965 and featured single headlights, three-louver fender vents, and bumpers with rubber-lined overriders.

Chrome Borrani wire wheels feature three-eared knockoffs and are wrapped in 205R15 Pirelli Cinturato HS tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and the steering rack was overhauled with replacement gaskets in late 2021. Braking is handled by servo-assisted discs at all four corners. The brake booster was rebuilt in 2021, at which time the front brake pads were replaced. The brake master cylinder was also replaced in late 2021, and the Dunlop brake calipers were overhauled in September 2023.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were retrimmed in black leather under previous ownership by F. Lli Ferraresi of Italy under previous ownership. A color-coordinated dashpad, door panels, and center console are fitted along with black carpets, and additional equipment includes power windows, wood dash trim, front and rear lap belts, and metal lower door trim. Hanging pedals replaced the floor-hinged units found on Series I cars.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 300-km/h Veglia speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges for oil temperature and pressure, while additional readouts for water temperature, amperage, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dash along with a clock. The five-digit odometer is said to have been reset during the 2000s refurbishment, and it shows 4k kilometers (~2k miles). Approximately 750 kilometers were added under current ownership, and total mileage is unknown.

The 4.0-liter Colombo Tipo 209 V12 features triple Weber carburetors, and it was rated at approximately 300 horsepower when new. Overhauls of the carburetors were performed in 2021, and the spark plugs, ignition points, and fuel filters were replaced at that time. Replacement front and rear crankshaft seals and valve cover seals were fitted in September 2023 along with a V-belt, and work in January 2024 included the installation of a replacement throttle cable, a service of the distributors, an oil change, and the addition of coolant. An oil change will be performed prior to delivery to the car’s next owner according to the selling dealer.
