This 1992 Ferrari 348 is a Canadian-market example that has been registered in Ontario and Quebec from new, and it was purchased by its current owner in October 2022. It is finished in Rosso Corsa over brown Connolly leather, and it is powered by a 3.4-liter DOHC V8 linked with a dogleg five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include a Tubi Style exhaust system, 18″ multi-piece alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, a gated shifter, air conditioning, a Sony head unit, and power windows. This 348 is now offered in Canada by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Ferrari Classiche certificate of authenticity, the owner’s manual, tools, and Ontario registration.
The 348 was the final V8-powered Ferrari model developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari, and its design was overseen by Pininfarina chief stylist Leonardo Fioravanti. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, louvered taillights, and quad exhaust tips.
The 18″ multi-piece alloy wheels are mounted with Pilot Super Sport tires. Stopping power is provided by Ferrari-branded calipers over ventilated discs along with an anti-lock system.
The cabin features two seats upholstered in brown Connolly leather along with a matching dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a dogleg-pattern gated shifter, air conditioning, a Sony head unit, a heated rear window, drilled aluminum pedals, and power windows and door locks.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 300-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. Auxiliary gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 58k kilometers (~36k miles), approximately 5k of which have been added during current ownership. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in a December 2018 entry, though it notes that it may be the result of a clerical error.
The 3.4-liter quad-cam Tipo F119 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 296 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The catalytic converters have been removed, and a Tubi Style exhaust system has been added.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
A Classiche certificate and book are included in the sale, photos of which are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned mileage inconsistency.
The vehicle does not have a title and is being sold on its Ontario registration, which serves as the ownership document in Ontario, Canada. The registration carries an “unplated” notation.
