This 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider was initially delivered to Ferrari San Fransisco of Mill Valley, California, and has remained registered in the state through the current owner’s acquisition on BaT in February 2024. It is powered by a 4.3-liter DOHC V8 paired with a six-speed F1 automated transaxle and is finished in Nero over Nero leather upholstery. The car was optioned with a black convertible soft top, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, 19″ split-spoke wheels, cross-drilled and ventilated brake rotors, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, drilled aluminum pedals, carbon-fiber interior trim, a high-power HiFi audio system, a wind deflector, and automatic climate control. This F430 Spider is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, a car cover, accessories, a Ferrari Vehicle Identification Passport, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Nero and has a power-retractable black soft top, xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, side air intakes, and quad exhaust tips exiting on either side of the rear diffuser. Paint meter readings are provided in the gallery, and paint protection film has been applied to portions of the front end. The selling dealer states the car was ceramic-coated and paint protection film has been applied.
The 19″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 225/35 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires that were installed under current ownership. Braking is handled by black-finished brake calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors.
The power-adjustable Daytona-style bucket seats are upholstered in Nero leather, while Ferrari-branded floor mats line the footwells. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and additional appointments include a wind deflector, automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, power windows and locks, and a high-power HiFi audio system with a subwoofer.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with an engine-start button as well as a manettino dial for control of dynamic settings. Instrumentation includes a central tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a 220-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 687 miles, approximately 275 of which were added during current ownership.
The mid-mounted 4.3-liter F136 V8 was factory rated at 483 horsepower and features Bosch Motronic engine management and a dry-sump lubrication system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 automated transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Ferrari San Fransisco of Mill Valley, California, along with factory colors, equipment, options, and a total suggested retail price of $222,905.
The Carfax report lists at least one open recall in a September 2022 entry. The car passed a smog test for the state of California in February 2024.
