This 1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello is powered by a 5.5-liter V12 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is refinished in black over Cuoio leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, power-adjustable seats, a gated shifter, and automatic climate control. It was purchased in 2019 by the seller following registration history in several states and now shows 56k miles. Work performed in 2024 included resurfacing the cylinder heads and replacing the timing belts, drive belts, intake plenum gaskets, spark plugs, TDC sensor, camshaft position sensor, and airflow meter. This 550 Maranello is offered with service records, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The 550 Maranello was styled by Pininfarina, and this example has been repainted in black. Exterior details include projector-style headlights, a hood scoop, a front spoiler, front fender vents, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear bumper cover. There are paint blemishes on the A-pillars and trim pieces, paint chips on the forward-facing surfaces, and cracks on the underside of the front bumper cover. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Silver 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that have 2019 and 2023 date codes. Braking is handled by yellow-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. Work performed under current ownership has included changing the brake fluid and replacing the control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, rear suspension actuator, and steering rack.
The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Cuoio leather with black piping. Amenities include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, electric windows, and rear luggage straps. The radio does not work, and the seller notes that a patch has been applied over an area of pulled leather on the dashboard.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure, while an analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer is inaccurate.
The 5.5-liter quad-cam F133A V12 features 48 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic engine management for a factory-rated output of 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. Work performed under current ownership included resurfacing the cylinder heads, servicing the air conditioning compressor and radiator, and replacing the following components:
- Valve guides and seals
- Two exhaust valves
- Timing belts
- Drive belts
- Intake plenum gaskets
- Spark plugs
- TDC and camshaft position sensors
- Airflow meter
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle fluid was changed in 2024.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The Florida title is listed as a duplicate.
