This 1978 Ferrari 308 GTB is powered by a 2.9-liter quad-cam V8 that was overhauled in 2017, at which time the interior was refreshed and the car received European-spec camshafts, a custom-fabricated exhaust system with ceramic-coated headers, forged high-compression pistons, and custom carburetor jetting. Finished in yellow over black leather upholstery, it is further equipped with a five-speed manual transaxle, a limited-slip differential, 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, a gated shifter, a Pioneer stereo, and electric windows. The car was purchased by the owner in 2018, and a major service was performed in preparation for the sale. This 308 GTB is now offered on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, a tool kit, partial service records, and a clean Arizona title.

The 308 GTB was introduced at the 1975 Paris Motor Show and featured Pininfarina-styled bodywork. The car is said to have been refinished in the current shade of yellow in 2018, and it features pop-up headlights, a driver-side mirror, a vented decklid, and quad exhaust outlets. The windshield was replaced under prior ownership.

Silver 14″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich tires. The car features a fully independent suspension with double wishbones front and rear, and stopping power is provided by ventilated discs at each corner. Replacement suspension bushings were fitted in 2017, the brake fluid was flushed in October 2024, and a September 2022 invoice notes that the steering rack requires replacement.

The cabin was refreshed in 2017, and work included replacement of the carpeting and headliner in addition to installing a Pioneer stereo and reupholstering the seats and dashboard with black leather. Interior appointments include air conditioning, electric windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg gear pattern. The air conditioning refrigerant was recharged in preparation for the sale.

The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline, and supplementary gauges. An analog clock along with an oil pressure gauge are located on the left side of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 1,800 miles, which is said to represent mileage added after the 2017 refurbishment. Blemishes are visible around the oil pressure gauge. Total mileage is unknown.

The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 was overhauled in 2017, at which time it was fitted with European-spec camshafts, a custom exhaust system with ceramic-coated headers, forged high-compression pistons, steel-braided oil cooler lines, and custom carburetor jetting. A fuel leak was repaired in October 2024, and an invoice for that service notes multiple oil leaks. A major service performed in February 2025 involved a compression test and changing the oil pressure sending unit as well as replacing the timing, alternator belt, and A/C belts.
